Responsibilities have focused on research, together with supporting a range of activities within the Institute for Manufacturing and Centre for Technology Management, including teaching, supervision of post-graduate research, examinations, publications, proposal generation, project management, network development and consulting. A leading role has been taken in developing industrial engagement within the area of strategic technology management, providing access for the development and transfer of practical management methods. An international reputation has been established in the field of strategic technology management, and the roadmapping method in particular.
